Tasteful Tips and Trips visits Asia Cafe in Knoxville Tennessee

I love to travel. I also love to taste a variety of styles of food. But sometimes I will try the same thing but it could be made different. One day while working in Knoxville Tennessee,  I took a break to meet a friend for dinner. He suggested sushi at this Asian restaurant on the outskirts of Knoxville. It was like a country style bar because it had high top tables and

live country style music in the atmosphere. This was totally something new. Can you imagine live country music in an Asian restaurant? I loved it and it totally fit my vibe.

My choice was the chicken pad thai with a side of string Brussel sprouts and crushed peanuts. This chicken was tender and the squeezed lime over the top gave it a citrus flavor.  I also tried the Malaysian smoked salmon and tuna sushi rolled filled with avocado and spicy mayo on top. It was so good.  Our server Juan introduced us to the sake choices and told us about a great one to choose. I don't remember the name of it but it was so smooth and it came in a bottle. If you are ever traveling through Knoxville you will have to try this place Asia Cafe at  1708 Callahan Drive Knoxville, Tn 37912 Knoxville, TN 37912

Asia Cafe (www.asiacafe.org) is Knoxville's only 8 in 1 Exotic Food Restaurant serving Malaysian, Thai, Indonesian, Oriental, Japanese Grill, Teppanyaki, Sushi Bar, Liquor Bar, Wine, Beer, Piano Lounge & Dance Floor.
