A few months back I met up with Chef Karisha Rice. She's a local chef in the Upstate of Greenville South Carolina who specializes in fine dining cusine meals. Her story is that she started out as a small child cooking in the kitchen with her grandma and it just fit with her.
We met at her local Spot on the Parkway in Greer SC where Chefs can rent out space to prepare their meals or do interviews & food reviews just as we did with Tasteful Tips and Trips of the "Focus Forward with Robin" Brand.
We started off with an appetizer of crab stuffed shrimp with a Cajun cream sauce that was my favorite as I love shrimp. The Flavor wasn't too spicy and the cream sauce was seasoned just right.
We also had the sweet and spicy salmon bites. Now this was top of the line salmon and I know this because salmon is one of my favorite fish to eat and I'm very particular with flavors of salmon. It was slightly crusted on the outside but savory and tender on the inside. It was spicy but enjoyable.
Chef Karisha out did herself as she prepared me two dishes to taste.
The first main dish was Parmesan stuffed chicken breast with mashed potatoes and green beans.
Since cheese is one of my favorites, I felt it added flavor to the stuffed chicken. The chicken has a slight more salt than I would have liked, but it still tasted very well with flavor. The green beans was lightly seasoned with butter and the mashed potatoes had a special ingredient that were no ordinary style of potatoes. It all blended well .
The other course meal to flavor was the Herb lamb chops with creamy mashed potatoes and broccolini. Now, as a food blogger I have tasted lamb-chops from the south and the North of Baltimore to the west coast of Hollywood. I'm very harsh on my reviews with lamb-chops. Up until I tried Chef Karisha's lambchops, I had not found any that out beats the perfect review of lambchops other than Sunset Blvd in Hollywood. However, her chops were uniquely prepared as I watched. She lightly seared them in butter in a deep dish frying pan with seasoning. Then she baked them in the oven This way they were made to perfection!
Of course all of the meal could not be eaten and portions were sent home with me. I enjoyed all of her meals so much so that she came to an event I hosted with my business partner Michael A Embry. And she catered another great meal. Chef Karisha Catering & Co. LLC had plenty of food to serve the guest. The meal included chicken marsala, green beans mashed potatoes roll tea and lemonade. There was so many positive reviews about the food!
This is a catering business you want to utilize for your next event. To contact Chef Karisha, you can reach her on social media and email: chefkarisharice@gmail.com. She is a ACF Certified Chef in the culinary arts & pastry degree. Chef Karish is a beautiful spirited woman who started out as a child in the kitchen with her grandma and now is making her wayvworking in excellence as a professional chef.
